OEM 997.2 (XAA) Aerokit spoiler

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $6000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: Porsche 911 997 Turbo, Porsche 911 997 Non-Turbo
Location (State): IL
Item Condition: Used
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped

Long discontinued from dealer, an OEM 997.2 aerokit spoiler (option XAA). Don't confuse this with a 997.1 aerokit/GT3 spoiler which is still available and has a single snorkel cutout - this one has two for the correct 997.2 cooling setup. Fits all 997.2s with factory fitment. Part numbers on back - can share more detailed photos with interested parties.

Part number tel:997.512.225.00]997.512.225.00

The only place I can see it for sale online has eye watering prices: https://teile.com/en/porsche-tequipment-shop/model-911-997/15/Exterieur/802-AeroKit/212/Aero-Kit-CUP-GT3-look-rear-spoiler-for-Carrera-2-4-2S-4S-Coupe-complete-incl-wing-and-small-pieces/15296]link. Price is for bare spoiler - you transfer your normal decklid parts over to it. Currently has tiny carbon fiber gurney on lip which easily comes off.

$6000

So you are selling this for $6? I think you need to correct your asking price.

I sent a reply earlier. Doesn't look like it made it. I also tried to friend or follow you on here, but not familiar with this sites capabilities. How do I get in direct contact with you?

Nevermind. On closer inspection, this is not OEM and just FYI the spoiler lip is in the wrong place.

First of all, that is not true. This is 100% an OEM decklid and I have the part numbers to prove.

If you are interested, send me a private message here or leave contact info. I saw your friend request but you seem to have private messages disabled.

can you back up your finding why this isn't OEM? Only thing stand out are the "aggressive" look dual air scoops, 997.1 GT3 has similar scoops but have not seen on 997.2 & 997.1 Aerokit cup deck.

@OP to clear up doubter(s) post up picture of the part no. on the deck.

Here is my 997.1 aerokit, although part no. underneath the paint isn't clearly visible, I am very sure it's authentic because it has the square wavy embossed (arrow) which aftermarket unit doesn't have.

My 997.1 XAA

Internet picture

link to another XAA deck part no is to the left of the wavy square emboss https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-gt3-forum/896359-997-aero-wing-gt3-style.html

hope this help.
thank you.
