ALT Wheels
Hey guys, have any of you heard of ALT wheels? I am looking to put new wheels on my 911 C4 cab and was on mod bargains and these came up as Porsche only fitment and they look good and they design I want. The bolt pattern is 5X130, is that good? here is what they look like. are they a good brand?
Does anyone know anything about RIAL. they have ones exactly like these also. any other suggestions?

they are on ebay all the time....pretty inexpensive like 1000 a set, but in this world you get what you pay for....Check the offsets and fitment...It may not actually fit a 996 that well....

Not a bad looking wheel.
A few of issues of concern-
1) weight-fronts are 33lbs and rears are 35lbs each! With tires your looking at almost 60lbs per corner!
2) centers are cast aluminum
3) will wheels accept factory caps?
4) are replacement halves and centers readily available and how much?
5) only available in silver
The good parts-
1) TUV Approved
2) under $500.00 per wheel
3) 5 year finish warranty
4) in stock at Tireworks

18's or 19's.....how much are they? They look like alot of wheels out there...What are you going for? Looks only? Performance? If performance is what you are looking for, then you need lighter wheels...lighter wheels are geenerally more expensive wheels....heavy wheels will result in reduced acceleration, braking, and handling as the weight is rotational....If it were me, I'd look at Champion (expensive but VERY good), Kinesis (F110's are one of my favorite wheels), also good...Another place to look is Wheel Enhancement, you can go to their site and they have the most Porsche wheels I have ever seen.

I like those too, but I am sure those are pretty those are not that light. They are replica wheels...they are also 1 piece wheels with a 3 piece "look"....I ALMOST got those for my car but after doing some research I decided against it...The other thing was the offsets...I am not sure if they were goint to fit the way I wanted.

how do u think they are for quality, and weight? thanks for all the help by the way.

Quality....ech....fit, not very good, there was a huge thread about the wheels rubbing and not fitting well on another forum. The rears are simply too wide for those offsets. The answer from the seller was to use a more narrow tire than stock...to me thats not an answer for poor fitment...A more narrow tire means less traction and a performance decrease not an increase....Weight probably the same as the other ones on ebay you looked at the ALT and the Highline..which should be about the same as the Rial....
